Tablets with Android
Let’s talk about the tablets for a minute. First of all, this is a mobile device, and for the hardware characteristics, it is normal that a usual software like windows, won’t work on this kind of devices, than again it uses multi touch screen technology, and more than that it can be use as a GPS. So as you already know, windows, or at least the operating system with which you are used to, and you use on you pc, it isn’t going to work on Android Tabs.
The most common Tablet on the market is the Samsung Galaxy Tab, device which I will describe you in a few words.
The Samsung Galaxy tab hardware it consists of:
– a wide screen which has a resolution of 1024×600, an internal flash storage of 2GB, that means that the speed of copying files is more faster that the pc hard disk’s, more than that, it has a micro-SD flash card slot which supports cards up to 32GB. The Samsung galaxy tab has a processor of 1.0 GHz and about 512MB of RAM.
-this tab also has WIFI, but besides that, it doesn’t support TV out. It has two cameras, one of 3.2MP and a front camera of 1.3 for video calling, which I think it’s quite need.
-more features that a tab like this has, are Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, handsfree, GSM.
The Tablets uses Android 2.2 upgradable to Andorid gingerbread 2.3.3 or maybe of course to a future Android operating system. So if you had read a few things about smartphones, that uses android 2.2, it has kind of the same applications and features, from organizer apps, office apps to games and other useful applications now more than that, Samsung Galaxy tab supports Adobe Flash, so you will experience more fun.
